Event Description : Commotion presents 'Coloured Jam' an evening of music and creative performances celebrating our city’s diversity and to raise a voice against discrimination.
Featuring : Minute of decay (M.O.D) LSR western music society Nitin train Dravaka and much more.
Commotion designs creative programs for young people in schools and colleges around the NCR. Their vision is to inspire young people through workshops, publications and creative events to become people of character who take a stand for social justice. Their work seeks to raise up a generation of young leaders who are proud to be Indian and boldly take responsibility for the future of our nation! Coloured Jam will mark the launch of Commotion’s new Youth Centre.
Coloured Jam will be an evening of music and creative performances celebrating our city’s diversity and to raise a voice against discrimination. We will focus in particular on four issues extremely relevant to our city – discrimination against women, ethnic discrimination (especially against the North-Eastern people), skin colour discrimination and class discrimination against the underprivileged. Professional and semi-professional performers from Delhi’s college circuit will be present at the event.
Our concept-partner on this event is the Dark is Beautiful Campaign. The Founder/ Director of the campaign Mrs. Kavitha Emmanuel will be at the event as well along with the Commotion team.
