Event Description : Sahmat with Janam, Janwadi Lekhak Sangh, Progressive Writers Association, Act One, INCACBI, PSC and Parcham is organising a cultural protest against recent happenings in Gaza and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
There will be poetry recitation, music, artworks, installations, painting of murals etc. at the venue. The following have consented their participation:
Sharmila Tagore, Javed Akhtar, Ashok Vajpaei, Madangopal Singh, Dr. Brijesh, Parcham, Sohail Hashmi, Rakhshanda Jalil, Noman Shoque, Sanjana Kapoor,Rahul Ram, Madhu Prasad, Aijaz Ahmad, Saba Hasan, Ram Rahman, Tushar Joag, Inder Slim, M.K.Raina and Saif Mahmood.
Bring artwork, posters etc if you have made any. Join us with your presence in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Art students will paint wall murals, there is poetry, street plays and some stunning events planned. Add your bit.
