Event Description : 'Indian Museums -Becoming More Relevants' a talk by Dr. Vinod Daniel, Chairman, AusHeritage and CEO, india Vision Institute vinod Daniel is the chairman of AusHeritage, CEO of India Vision Institute and the Vice Chairof the International Council of Museums-Committee for Conservation. Over his career of more than two decades, he had worked at the J Paul Getty Trust in los Angelesn and the Australilan Museum in Sydney, published/presented over a hundred papers, worked on projects in over 35 countries and his countries and has over 150 articles in the media. His is curretly working on projects with Egypt, USA, Australia, India and Germany. The talk will highlight on how museums internationally are better connecting their collections to communities, addressing contemporary issues, better managing their collections and having more effective audience engagement. The talk will also deal with some of the broader challenges that that Museums internationally face and measures that are being taken to make them more sustainable.
