Event Description : Gati Dance Forum presents In Motion with Lalit Khatana - dance classes.

Based on release technique, this class is grounded in concepts such as anatomy, movement combinations and fall technique. These open many questions about how the body experiences motion, stillness and speed. The approach of Impulses (with reflection, action and reaction) will enable the participants to develop a new range of movement and help arrive at a personal movement language.

Lalit Khatana is a Delhi-based contemporary dancer. During his association with Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, he performed extensively nationally and internationally in various dance festivals. In Sept, 2013 Lalit graduated from Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). He also had the opportunity to work with some European Choreographers such as Richerd Siegal (The Bakey, France), Samir Akika (Unusual symptoms, Germany) and as an assistant with Eulalia Ayguade Farro from Akram Khan Dance Company.
