Event Description : Dr. R.S. Bisht, Retd. Joint Director General of Archaeological Survey of India will give the Memorial Lecture on ‘Lothal and Dholavira : The Contribution to Indian Archaeology’
A special function is being held to commemorate the life and work of the late Dr. S.R. Rao (1922-2013), the eminent archaeologist and scholar on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
The NMML is especially privileged to have been recipient of the S.R. Rao Papers for our archive given to us by Dr. S.R. Rao Memorial Foundation for Indian Archaeology, Art and Culture. We are marking the occasion with an exhibition as well as a formal Public Lecture.
