Event Description : Subculture presents Blue Breakfast
Blue Breakfast, started in 2008 by Adhiraj Mustafi, is now a songwriting outfit, supported at different times by some stellar musicians. Blue Breakfast’s music references acoustic folk, rock & pop, and jazz & blues genres.
Spontaneously crafted and artistic compositions of lyrical poetry and careful melody relate personal stories of the celebration of life and the intricacies of being human.
Blue Breakfast’s compositions comprise songs written by Adhiraj Mustafi and Aditya Dasgupta, while the remaining band members contribute to arrangement and live performances with outstanding proficiency and musicianship. The band’s sound is definitive in its employment of acoustic guitars for vocal and melodic support, electric guitar and bass for rhythm, interlude and melodic support, and unconventional acoustic percussion that provides a certain ethnicity in the presentation of its music.
