Event Description : ‘Time Heals What Reason Cannot’ An Exhibition of paintings by Sanjeev Verma

Located in the vibrant art street of Lado Sarai, along with its Art Advisory Services, Gallery Five offers a quaint space for art lovers to enjoy its monthly art exhibitions from a wide range of works by India’s leading and upcoming Modern and Contemporary artists.

Time heals what reason cannot is a month long exhibition of paintings by artist Sanjeev Verma. The body of works in this show gently steer the viewers to acknowledge the power of Time, which is the instrument that makes abstract entities like maturity, dedication, loyalty, memories, hope and healing in the universe conceivable. 

An alumni of the Government college of Art, Kolkata, 1984, for Sanjeev, art is a world in itself and as vital as breathing. He uses the language of painting to reveal his observations that cause him either joy or anguish. 

Sanjeev says “The artist’s inspiration is not a big event at all because inspiration is all around and ever present in the seemingly miss able details surrounding our daily lives. These small little things bring the forms and the colours alive on my canvas constantly inspiring me, pushing me, pulling me, and shaking me to be complete with life itself. Making my paintings come alive with a language which doesn’t discriminate between good, bad and ugly”
