Artist's Introduction :
I am the senior most student of the Late Guru K.J.Govindarajan, New Delhi. I am also the senior most disciple of PADMASHRI, Smt. Kanaka Srinivasan, New Delhi. I am currently learning abhinaya from Smt. Bragha Bessel and advanced training under PADMA BHUSHAN, Professor C.V. Chandrashekar at Chennai.
I am an A-Top artist with Doordarshan and have performed in several national programm.
I am an empanelled artist with the ICCR in the ESTABLISHED category . I have had the wonderful opportunity to present Bharatanatyam to foreign audiences abroad (South Africa, Zambia, Re-Union Islands, Kingdom of Maseru, Serbia, Montenegro, Abu Dhabi and Singapore).
My first production “Thevaara Moovar” has been well received by the audiences and critics as well.
The title of “Nrithya Sevika” has been bestowed on me by a monthly magazine called Nadhabrahmam in Dec 2012.
