Synopsis of The Play
Bola, the protagonist of the story lives happily in the village Kumansenu with her grand daughter Asi. Her only son Meji, a clerk in the government office lives far off in the city. One day Meji pays her a surprise visit, but he doesn’t want to meet anyone else from the village and wants to spend his time only with his mother and daughter. For two days he lives with them amidst much happiness, but then, as suddenly as he had arrived, he leaves at midnight. Bola and her grand daughter don’t know what to make of his unexplained behavior, and it is the only the next day that she gets to know the truth behind her son’s special visit.

Synopsis of The Play
Panchchhi, a hilarious comedy Hindi play is an adaptation of a French play ‘Boeing Boeing’ written by Marc Camoletti which has been listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most performed French play throughout the world.

Panchchhi (Bird) flies high up in the air but comes back on the ground in the end, likewise, many people flies but ultimately, they have to come back on reality. Pawan, the protagonist of the story is dating three air hostesses with the help of his disapproving housekeeper friend Krishan. Pawan thinks that he can easily keep each woman unaware of other’s existence.

What actually makes the play so funny when the King of Romance is virtually on a ventilator as he is getting more and more breathe less from the very point when two air hostesses land at his place at the same time? Just a while back, he was enlightening his bumbling friend how to juggle them and his philosophy of love & affection and now all of a sudden he is seeking his advice and is on the mercy of his friend’s wits.

Synopsis of The Play

Sandhya Chhaya is a well renowned play written by Eminent Marathi playwright Jaywant Dalvi. It deals with the problems of old people. In the modern concept of family life, the bonds of relations with each other are getting weaker and weaker. The play talks about the concept of family life as it has evolved in today’s world and how family bonds have deteriorated beyond recognition. Family members are drifting away from each other for materialistic and financial gains. 

The play deals with an old couple Nana and Nani, who are very vulnerable and loveable. Inspite of having being deprived of love from their children, they still have the courage to fight the melancholy and pathos of their lives. They fondly call each other and their attempts to keep their family together.
The play is a heart rending portrayal of the joys, sorrows and trials of this adorable couple. They support and love each other and as the play unfolds, the audience also falls in love with them. This play is entertaining and simultaneously, it tells us about old age and Loneliness. It is a great play, which can be very easily called a classic of Modern times. This all-time classic offers thorough entertainment and compels its audience to evaluate, if today’s demanding life is making us lose sight of our true priorities.
