Event Description : A new display at Art Alive Gallery entitled Storytellers brings together the work of three contemporary artists from the Pradhaan community, one of the largest tribes of central India, Madhya Pradesh. Pradhaans are storytellers who narrate tales of mankind and nature, passed to them from one generation to another.
This exhibition features the works of Bhajju Singh Shyam, Mayank Shyam and Sukhnandi Vyam, who have created a new body of works. These artists stand apart from their clan as they have evolved and their works have developed a strong contemporary language.
