Event Description : Women’s rights - ‘Hack for Change’ An initiative undertaken by Breakthrough and Hack/Hackers to stand for the rights of women

To mark the spirit of women empowerment and stand together for women’s rights, Breakthrough along with Hack/ Hackers are organizing ‘Hackathon’- a part of ‘16 days of activism against gender based violence’ which commenced from November 25, 2013 -International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to December 10, 2013 - International Human Rights Day.

Developers, storytellers, statisticians, journalists, researchers and activists are invited to attend the event.  The event would provide a platform for data visualizations, videos and interactive projects which in turn will create awareness about early marriage, domestic violence, street sexual harassment, and more issues related to women.
