Shruti popularly known & referred to as the ‘Mar jaawan’ girl from Fashion. She turned lyricist for Dev D’s ‘Payaliya’.

She stole hearts of millions with her debut song "mar jaawaan" from Priyanka chopra starrer FASHION. And then there was no looking back. Hits one after the other. 

We all loved her voice in songs like, Paayaliya from Dev-D, Jee le from LUCK, Rasiya from KURBAAN, Chhayee hai tanhayee from love break-up zindagi, and Buddhi do bhagwan from Players. But she touched our soul in "Tujhe bhula diya" and "Aas Paas Khuda" from Anjaana Anjaani. 

Also her latest track, "criminal" from Ra-one made waves, where she sang with Akon. The Filmfare and Star Screen nominated, playback singer has sung for MTV Coke Studio & also her recent track from the Kai Po Che called Shubhaarambh has touched million hearts.
