In 1989, twenty four years ago great political and social changes took place in Hungary. After the changes poetry and fiction had to find a new voice and new ground. The work of the poets discussed this evening belong to the new post-1989 generation, their work includes along with poems, novels, short stories, children's poetry and essays. The evening is going to present the rich variety of work by this generation in Hungarian and English.
