Event Description : Genesis Foundation presents The Kutle Khan Project with Vidhi Sharma - An Evening of Sufi Music.

The Kutle Khan Project is a unique collection of Manganiyar musicians from Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The highlight of the evening is Kutle Khan, the Sufi and folk maestro. He is accompanied by his versatile group of multi-instrumentalists on the harmonium, sarangi, khartal, bhapang, morchang, tabla and dholak. His troupe has performed in over 40 countries and his music has been influenced by Rajasthani and Western traditions. Kutle Khan produces the most soulful, passionate and energetic live Sufi and folk music.  Vidhi Sharma will add the female vocals to the Kutle Khan Project.

About Genesis Foundation : Genesis Foundation (GF) is a not for profit trust, that provides life-saving and life changing financial support for medical procedures for critically ill children from orphanages and under privileged families.  The Foundation’s concentration is in 5 areas of illness namely, cancer, cardiac disorder, organ failure, thalassemia and extreme deformities.

Genesis Foundation’s effort is to facilitate timely medical intervention thereby giving these children a chance to live.  Till October 2013, medical treatment of over 450 critically ill children has been supported by Genesis Foundation.
