A DYNASTY FADES AWAY: MUGHALON KA DHALTAA SURAJ
Join DBF on a 'time-machine' like trip back in th epages of U350+ year old 7th city of Delhi, Shahjahanabad and the crowning jewel of the 17th century Mughal Empire, the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site have been silent witnesses to rich Mughal glory and subsequent anarchy and today's chaos...
We begin with a sumptuous traditional breakfast as the city wakes up from its slumber and prepares for a new day.... Then we discover the hazaar secrets of the 'Qila-e-Mubarak' better known as Lal Quilla or Red Fort which will give you a fresh perspective of the Mughal Dynasty and why it rapidly declined within 100 yrs of the creation of the city....
Learn the tragic tale of how the once-mighty Mughal empire was reduced to the area of Chandni Chowk & Chawri Bazar...and how the Dynasty came to an end in the faraway lands of Burma...
