Exhibition: "Future plans"
Imagine you are nine years old and you live in a small country called Uganda. Every night, all children in your town play the same game. When the sunsets you hide among the high weeds and in holes dug in the earth. The objective is for them not to find you if they come, because if they catch you…

Future Plan is a project of diverse NGOs for LRA’s children soldiers in which they share their experiences and plans for tomorrow. Imagine your life was a great plain wall. Imagine you have a piece of chalk. What would you do with it? 

Exhibition: “Admission ward”
“Admissions Ward,” which features a group of male patients from the Hospital Neuropsiquiátrico Borda. If the men and their positions in society aren’t enough to prompt the contemplative aspect commonly found in Flavia’s work, a mirror included among the portraits in the gallery space clearly asks the question, “how do I fit into this group of men in front of me?” True to form, Flavia’s left enough room for us to engage and figure it out for ourselves. “I invited the patients into a ruined shed in the garden of the Hospital Neuropsiquiátrico Borda to pose without the gaze of doctors, nurses and guards. I asked them to sit and literally look into a glass mirror that I put above the lens of my camera.” (Flavia Schuster, pictures' author).
