Event Description : Family of Disabled (FOD) presents 10th Edition of Beyond Limits –An Exhibition to Showcase 100 Artworks Of Artists With Disabilities.
Beyond Limits 2013 a humongous variety of style under one roof will provide a platform to 48 trained and self-taught artists to showcase exquisite artworks, sculptures in bronze and stone, canvas and papers, coming to life with water, oil & acrylic colours, mixed media, collage work, and etching.
A great mix of flavours to suit every taste awaits art connoisseurs and aficionados.
With a belief that art is a medium to give creative expression to one’s inner feelings and the world they see around them FOD through Beyond Limits and have benefited the disabled artists in bringing number of opportunities to reach out to people with their imagination and creativity. Moreover, to provide them financial support, earn public recognition and appreciation.
About Family of Disabled (FOD)
FOD was founded in 1992 by Mr. Rajinder Johar, after he became disabled sustaining an injury to his spinal cord. It was in 1994 that he was introduced to an artist having quadriplegia (paralysis of all the four limbs). With the aim to promote her work and to raise funds for the organisation, FOD came out with its first set of 4 greeting cards that very year, all done by the same artist - Shivani Gupta
