Synopsis: An adaptation of a play by the same name, Lester Hamlet's emotional drama OLD HOUSE is an honest and compelling tale about the trials of family. After having lived in Barcelona for 14 years, architect Esteban returns home to Cuba to be with his family as his father lay dying. Despite the many years that have 
passed, he finds that the only thing that has changed is himself—the people, expectations, anti-gay prejudices, and memories also await, untouched by time, until he is forced to face them. Hamlet's finely observed, moving, and critically-acclaimed film is an excellent screen adaptation of a great work of Cuban theatre.
