Growing up in small-town Italy during the '60s and '70s, two brothers Accio and Manrico want to change the world in completely different ways. Both share an impassioned love of the same woman that threatens to drive them to blows. Over the course of 15 years, they endure arguments and quarrels, are separated by the ravages of time and circumstance, and finally find themselves reunited magnetically by the wisdom of age… Antonio Pennacchi (Latina, 26th January 1950) is an Italian writer and political activist. His works like Mammut won him the award Premio del giovedì, Palude the Premio Letterario Pisa and Il fasciocomunista the Premio Napoli. But it was his book Canale Mussolini (Mussolini Canal) that won him the coveted Strega Prize in 2010 along with three other awards, the Premio Acqui Storia Prize, Libro dell'anno del Tg1 award, and the Premio Asti d'Appello Prize.
