Event Description : Toss A Coin Theatre Company presents 'The Infant' English play by Oliver Lansley, artistic director of Les Enfants Terrible.
Are we paranoid? Or are they really out to get us?
They have a picture, a picture that could spell the destruction of civilized society, a plan so devastating it would change the World as we know it. They must put a stop to it. They have two suspects. Bound and gagged. But Who’s telling the truth? What is the truth? And does the truth really matter anymore?
The Infant is a riveting and highly assured, absurdist black comedy, with many resonances for today’s climate of fear, suspicion and arbitrary justice... This clever premise develops through interrogations, violence and circular logic into a penetrating look at police paranoia and state-led authoritarianism.
Oliver Lansley's absurdist black comedy The Infant is, in the end, neither completely absurd nor comic as its subject matter is more frightening than comic and more real than absurd.
The play is fast paced and hurtles along at an extraordinary pace. The action is tight and the play is verbally dexterous.

Directed by : Amba- Suhasini K Jhala, who trained at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art on the Two Year Classical Acting course. 

Toss A Coin Theatre Company is a fledgling company founded in July 2012 when Amba returned to Delhi. 
The company was founded to bring exciting new theatre to the capital. Theatre that wasn’t run-of-the-mill or mainstream. We wanted to give the audience something that they hadn't experienced before, something that made them sit up and think.
