Event Description : To celebrate the silly season, Akshara presents its new production -- a zany, wacky, madcap musical entertainment: Play It Hot -- a full-on Hollywood-Bollywood ‘inspired’ play, featuring cross-dressing musicians, murderously over-the-top gangsta chicks and dons, a gorgeous songstress – guns, gals, guitars and plenty of jhatka-matka and naach-gaana.

Play It Hot is an ode to movie classics like Some Like It Hot, Rafoo Chakkar, White Chicks and of course the grey eminence and master cross-dresser of all – WilliamShakespeare.

Starring Nisa Schette, Angad Thakur, Dhruv Shetty, Mahant Shah, Vikalp Mudgal, Mahima Saigal and other bright young Akshara performers, Play It Hot promises to have the audience in splits. Popular young Hindi funky-folk singer Vipin Heero makes a special appearance. Director Anasuya Vaidya requests audiences to please leave common sense and logic safely behind and just have a blast.
