Workshop Description : The Gati Dance Forum presents Contemporary Dance for Beginners with Parinay Mehra

The class is designed to understand the basic principles of dance by using techniques from contemporary dance, modern dance, ballet and yoga. The class will enable the participants to work on strength, flexibility, mobility, alignment as well as musicality. Use of breathe and energy is integrated into the structure of this class, the aim of which is to find ways to move with ease efficiency. No prior dance experience required!

Parinay Mehra graduated from Trinity-Laban, London in 2012, along with a Diploma in Dance Studies in 2009. Trained in various Contemporary techniques, Ballet & Jazz. He has performed in UK, Greece & Delhi in various contemporary and ballet productions.
