The greatest Rock & Roll band The Beatles - get a marvelous tribute on this first Saturday of the month by two of Delhi’s favorite tribute bands - The Maverix & Five8. 

The Maverix 
Radhika and Shikhar have always wanted to put a rock and roll band together. Passionate about the music of the fifties and sixties, The Maverix is an obvious culmination of their dream!

Radhika started singing before she could talk and the child artist inevitably matured into an accomplished singer, lending her voice to numerous jingles, ads and dubbing projects, and of course, The Maverix!

She also hosts karaoke all around Delhi, parallely working on a self produced trip-hop album. Shikhar, a composer at heart, has been honing his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, while playing bass for The Maverix. A ten-year producer and arranger, he has studied music at The Berklee College of Music in Boston and chooses to be in india to explore and discover his own sound.

Five8
Five8 was created in the summer of 2005 in New Delhi. Beginning as a college band at Delhi University, Five8 performed extensively within the Indian college circuit, playing many college shows and competitions. 

With this impetus, the members of the band Adhir, Aveleon, Robin, Shiv and Steve decided to take the band forward professionally in 2008, consciously writing and performing their own music. With influences ranging from glam rock to soul, progressive music to pop, Five8’s work resonates through a constantly evolving city life, running parallel and colliding with concrete construction, scorching temperatures, traffic jams, insatiable appetites, and just some plain wishful thinking.
