Jitendra Padam jain name of the art exhibition where visitor will find art works by jitendra padam jain and live wash painting demo for free…show will go on for 5 days .
Gallery Sree Arts, a Gurgaon-based art gallery established in 2003, is such an example. It is a venture established by Jitendra Padam Jain, a trained artist, who works towards encouraging imminent artists, and bring their works on to a global field.
Having completed his Masters in Fine Arts at the Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi, Jitendra also obtained a diploma in painting and design at London. Thereafter he visited several renowned institutions and the concept of Gallery Sree Arts sprouted in his mind. Since then, there has been no looking back and his passion
and pain have paid off. Having been associated with international platforms such as the Lalit Kala Akademi, and the India Habitat Centre at Delhi, the Goa Film Festival, Japan Biennale Art Exhibition, the Mumbai Kala Ghodha Festival, Gallery Sree Arts today has established a name for itself.
Jitendra was a full-time artist before turning to curation. He personally witnessed the difficult struggle of young artists and decided to support young talent in different ways under the Gallery Sree Arts banner. A decade later, his zen has lived up to his promise and brought to the fore a number of new names in
the art world. The gallery has invested a lot in emerging artists. Jitendra judges an artist's works based on the concept, creativity and passion towards art. Some artists are not trained yet their brilliant ideas and creativity shines through. Art is now not restricted to just painting on canvas or paper only but is all around even on cars, dresses, and ceilings. Jitendra loves this energy in Indian contemporary art. Being an artist, curator and a gallerist, he is supporting struggling artists without charging a single penny from them. He is supporting them by getting their paintings sold. He is supporting artists by buying their paintings as well. He has been supporting NGO's like Bagia - he holded an painting exhibition with Gurgaon based NGO Bagiya and
whatever amount came from selling paintings, he donated to them to help under privileged childern.
Khushi - he holded an exhibition with Gurgaon based NGO Khushi and whatever amount came from selling paintings, he donated to them to help mentally challenged children.
End Poverty - he holded two exhibitions with Gurgaon based NGO End poverty and whatever amount came from selling paintings, he donated to them to help poor children.
Gift A Tree - he holded an exhibition "JOIN" with Gurgaon based NGO - Gift A Tree to promote awareness of planting tree. Neev - he worked with Gurgaon based NGO - Neev, as an art educator who used to educate art to under privileged children.
Sankalp - children from this Gurgaon based NGO comes to take free art classes from his art school
He is not only helping artists, he is always associated with social upliftment activities. He is regular donating art materials to street children, keeping in mind - right for education for all. Being the founder of JJ Sanskriti School of art, dance & music, he never took fees from under privileged children.
Jitendra has promoted several emerging artists including Tirthankar Biswas, Moutushi Chakravarty, Surendra K. Misra, and Sambit Panda. His gallery also has a large collection of works by eminent artists such as Akbar Padamsee, Jogen Chowdhury, Arup Das, Sanat Kar, Sunil Das, Krishen Khanna, Lalu Prasad Shaw, K. Laxma Gaur, M.F.
