Enthralling…enthusing…and enigmatic…Black and white keys that sound like a million colors in your mind! The piano entices all without exception. Today a music album to her credit and the launch of her music school COLORS OF MUSIC in 2012- Ankita Kumar presents HARMONY- celebrating music from across borders. A one & a half hour instrumental performance will feature Indian songs, western classical and popular numbers, hymns and devotional tunes on the piano.
Accompanied by the rhythms of the tabla and the strings of the guitar, the evening will also feature Hindi film songs from the black and white era to the techno rich Bollywood music of today, from Boney M songs to timeless English classic tunes.

The music mounted on a rich canvas of décor and lights, a memory wall and spell binding visuals of the romance between musician and the music will make for a spectacular listening experience for discerning audiences who will stand witness to the event.

About Ankita Kumar- Daughter of Mr. Niraj Kumar- the incumbent Commissioner of Police, New Delhi, Ankita Kumar is a well known pianist. She began playing the piano as a fascination when she first watched her teacher- piano maestro Brian Silas play when she was all of 12- has culminated into an epic romance between the instrument and her. Today twenty performances old, a music album to her credit and the launch of her music school COLORS OF MUSIC in 2012- Ankita continues to scale new heights in her tryst with the magical instrument. She has performed time & again for various solo concerts & events at Indian habitat centre, Kamani Auditorium to  Sanatan Sangeet Sankriti Awards.
