Event Description : Striker Pub ,Delhi is launching sufi rock night every Wednesday with Laal performing live this Wednesday.
Laal is Pakistan's only Revolutionary Rock band that has managed to create waves in a short span of 4 years since its inception. Starting off with playing a role in providing the soundtrack to the historic Lawyers' Movement in Pakistan, Laal has also contributed to many social as well as political causes throughout its career. Its original songs are all based on the poetry of progressives such as Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Habib Jalib. Yet it includes many folk songs of the subcontinent in its repertoire as well. With boundless energy and heart and soul put into each performance, Laal makes sure that the audience is always at the centre of every show.
Band Members: Taimur Rahman - Guitar and Vocals, Haider Rahman - Flute, Mahvash Waqar - Backing Vocals, Salman Majeed - Bass Guitar.
In near future the audience would also get to witness some of Delhi ‘s very famous Sufi Rock bands like Suryaveer with his band Ehsaas ,Veda’s, Rock Veda, Hiten Panwar Just Ittefaq and many more.
