Event Description : Indie Central presents Tarik and Mindflew
After a few weeks of rest and relaxation Indie Central is back. And it’s back with a monumental bang. The two bands performing live this time, and at no cost to you dear gigger, are Tarik and Mindflew.
Tarik are a Delhi-based tribal punk act from Shillong – and they have sworn a solemn oath to rock your socks off. As well as various punk and indie bands around the world, Tarik are also greatly influenced by their hometown, and the culture that prevails there. This can be seen by the use of Khasi chants and beats in their music, and the accompanying visual show.
Mindflew are an indie band, also from Delhi. And while Tarik are making off with your socks, Mindflew will be encouraging you to get on your dancing shoes. The band places emphasis on blending different influences in music and life to produce something new and fresh.
