Event Description : Screening of Documentary Movie “Beyond Education” at TCV Day school, Majnu ka tila, Delhi
I- Imagine and Lha Yang Maa  are set to host a free screening of 45 mins High- Definition documentary film “Beyond Education” which is based on how the practice of education goes beyond its norms, directed by Irshal Ishu.
Beyond Education is a documentary movie based on how Tibetan schools in India practices the education system which go beyond its norms.Unlike many Indian schools, Tibetan schools in India emphasize students to become a good and responsible human being along with their day to day school activities and curriculum.
The movie was first launched in the Hills of Dheradun at Paonta Sahib, going to be screened in the capital, Delhi.
The audiences have much appreciation for his work on bringing the subject of Education System that was not taken serious by many schools, though education system which is only based on textbooks and theoretical knowledge was considered as a drawback in bringing the quality of education by many educationalists and experts.
“This is the first film which helps in promoting a deeper understanding of the Tibetan education system : 
An education system that has the potential of building mindful Tibetan with meaningful careers”

"I have been associated with Tibetan community for a year now, I have seen film makers working on subjects like religion, politics but hardly anyone talks about the youth's development who are the future of Tibet. My aim is to showcase how unique is the Tibetan Education system in comparison to western or Indian where they are not taught in order to make them machine but to make good human beings". 

About the Director Irshal Ishu  (Who is also the CEO, I-imagine and Edit House)
Irshal Ishu is a Delhi based young Photographer, Film maker and Academician, graduated in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University and postgraduate in Still Photography and Visual Communications from AJKMCRC Jamia Milia Islamia.
He is also serving as a visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Photography and Sambhota Tibetan School.
His first short film Fatal Love was officially screened and applauded at the prestigious 63rd India’s Pavilion at the age of 20, making him one of the youngest filmmakers at Cannes Film Festival,France.
He has made several movies on social issues such as child trafficking, domestic violence etc to name a few.
His next project is on National Women Football Team Tibet.
