Event Description : History Walk to Mehrauli Archaeological Park- Mughal and British Period Monuments.
The Mehrauli Archaeological Park, lying adjacent to the Qutub Minar complex, offers a sense of continuous history, from remains of Rajput monuments built in the early 11th century all the way down to British constructions in the 19th century. This Sunday, we will explore the Jamali Kamali mosque (brought back on popular demand!), the gorgeous tomb of Quli Khan and the various constructions that Metcalfe, acting Governor-General of India in the mid-19th century, made around the monuments. Join us as we continue to explore the exquisite complex!
