Bounty hunters Clint Eastwood as the "Man with No Name" and Lee Van Cleef as Colonel Douglas Mortimer team up to track down a Western outlaw "El Indio", one of the most wanted fugitives in the western territories along with his gang. El Indio is a ruthless, intelligent man addicted to what is apparently marijuana. While the Colonel has a personal motive behind his actions involving the death of his sister, Eastwood's character is motivated not just by money but also by a sense of justice toward those he likes. It features one of the most glorious and unforgettable scores by composer Ennio Morricone.
