What is the Greenpeace Bike-a-thon?
Some of us who studied too much physics still remember "Energy can neither be created or destroyed but can change form". We are setting up bicycles on stands for people to hop on and pedal.
As you pedal, our equipment saves all those calories that you burn into batteries that then light up the message of 'SWITCH ON THE SUN'. A message that represents our power, PEOPLE POWER! The more you pedal, the brighter the SUN! For motivation, you will have a special live performance by the Delhi Drummers.
So, pedal away to the drum beats and tell our government to Switch On The Sun.
