Event Description : The Instituto Cervantes will conduct a workshop specially designed for secondary school students. At the end of the course the students will be able to paint a graffiti and speak some basics of Spanish language. The final works will be shown on an exhibition at the Instituto Cervantes.

Teacher: Susana Tarancón has a Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a Masters Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Art and Design of Helsinki. For more than 10 years she has been working in the fields of design, advertising and teaching. Originally born in Spain, she has studied and trained in different countries such as Finland, Argentina and currently lives in New Delhi, India.

Susana Tarancón has broad experience as a designer and art director. She worked for the prestigious advertising company Saatchi & Saatchi and for some outstanding design studios and branding consultancies in both Madrid and Barcelona. As an educator, she worked for the Faculty of Advertising at the University of Valladolid, and as a translator for the renowned publishing house Gustavo Gili, which specializes in art and design. For the last three years Susana has been running innovative art workshops where children and adults explore their creativity.
