Raj Sharma along with Vasu Primlani, also a US based stand-up comic and now among the most popular female comics in India, will perform as part of Costa’s popular stand-up comedy series Laughaccino

About performer: Raj Sharma began his comedy career in 2002 and has never looked back. Born and raised in Texas, USA, and brought up in a traditional Hindu household, gave him all the influence he needed. Raj has worked with some of the best international comics in the business like: Tom Rhodes, Carl LaBove, Pablo Francisco, Frank Caliendo, Brian Regan, Bruce Bruce and many more. His style of humour can be enjoyed by anyone of any age or background. Hilarious everyday observations, combined with his upbringing and sensational crowd work, is what you can expect at every show. Among the leading stand up comics in the US, Raj has been variously described as "Head-crushingly Funny" or "He's funny in 3 languages, English, Punjabi and the Future" by leading critics.His passion for comedy has taken him across the US and across the globe, working in such clubs as The Comedy Store (Los Angeles), Caroline's on Broadway (New York City), The Punchline (Atlanta), The Improv (Dallas, Houston, San Jose and Hollywood), Up The Creek (Greenwich-England) and The Laughter Lounge (Dublin and Belfast-Ireland) to name a few. Vasu Primlani is a professional comic from the US. She has headlined, or been showcased at premier comedy venues such as SF Punchline, New Comedy Comedy Cub, the Mira Guild Theater, Rooster T Feathers, and in India at the Comedy Store Mumbai, among others. She is known for her dry wit and deadpan expression while she sails through the travails of the exceptional in daily life. She is one of the top female comedians in India. Her shows range from exclusively English to bilingual in Hindi.
