Event Description : The Gati Dance Forum presents Contemporary Dance Class for Beginners with Swati Mohan.
The class is designed to understand the basic principles of dance by using techniques from contemporary dance, modern dance, ballet and yoga. The class will enable the participants to work on strength, flexibility, mobility, alignment as well as musicality. Use of breathe and energy is integrated into the structure of this class, the aim of which is to find ways to move with ease efficiency. No prior dance experience required!
Founder director of Danza Performing Arts and alumnus of The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, Swati Mohan is a dance artist trained in contemporary dance, jazz, classical ballet, yoga dance and Bharatanatyam.
