Event Description : Akshara’s popular Summer Festival for children.
Akshara’s beautiful, air-conditioned auditorium, halls and studio as well as the outdoor Pipal Tree Theatre and large green lawns are all part of the Festival experience.
Children from 4 to 18 years will participate in Theatre, Music, Modern and Classical Dance, Zumba Fitness, Football, Yoga, Art, Craft, Creative Writing, Hindi and English poetry, Sanskrit chanting, Games, Competitions and Film screenings, under the tutelage of Jalabala Vaidya, Gopal Sharman, and Anasuya Vaidya. Other teachers include Parul Mishra (Kathak), Sandhya Kargeti (Yoga), Mangae Ram Sharma (painting & crafts), Nisa Schete & Mahima Saigal (modern dance) and Benny Thoms (Football). Jalabala Vaidya, Gopal Sharman and Anasuya Vaidya will teach theatre. There will be healthy snacks and drinks for the children at break-time.
There will be a series of dance, music, poetry and theatre productions staged by the children, through the Festival.
