Event Description : 'Miracle of Candeal (El milagro de Candeal)' film screening. As part of Brazilian film series.
Synopsis: Bebo Valdés, the great Cuban pianist, travels to Salvador de Bahia (Brazil), where he encounters the Candeal slum. Thanks to the initiative of the musician Carlinhos Brown and the efforts of its inhabitants, this community has become a special place. Using music as a force for every type  of initiative, the people there have regained their self-esteem and the hope that reality can be transformed.
