Event Description : Nomadic Dance Fest - International Festival of Dance, Music and Cultures.

The show GIPSY ROOTS retraces the journey of the nomads that started in the Thar Desert around the 11th century. The “GIPSY ROUTE” roots are in India that is why it is so important to rediscover the traditions from Rajasthan in order to understand the nomadic culture. Dance and music are a mixture of cultures: 
from Rajasthani and Kalbeliya to Turkish rhythms, from Arabic sounds of Northern Africa to Arab-Andalusian tradition and the red colour of Flamenco from Spain. 
A blend of Arab-flamenco rhythms and Rajasthani melodies in continuous dialogue.
