Event Description : Improvisational theater: “Improtour”.
An international classic improvisation, has toured the most prestigious festivals and been through more than a
dozen countries (including Italy, in Italian, and the Netherlands, in English). The performance proposes a particular reading of improvisation, full of poetry in motion, magic realism and a huge butterfly effect as a link between the stories plot. Humor elegant, and more.
The one-man "Impro Solo" explores some genres and styles never before visited by improvisational theater, like Garcia Marquez, Kafka, Divine Comedy, Borges, Cortazar, Bible, Beat Generation, and many more.
Omar Argentino Synopsis: Born in Buenos Aires, Omar is Actor-director-teacher-researcher specializing in Impro (theatrical improvisation techniques). With his constant improtour he has been in more than twenty countries, becoming a benchmark for international theatrical improvisation. Has worked and works with companies world's leading improvisation. Company cofounder Events in Argentina (1996), from the 2000s traveling proprietorship.
Creator of formats (Solo Impro, Improlandia, Impro No More, Links ...). First Spanish Impro festival organizer (Mexico 2004). Developing "impropainting" method based on Soundpainting, by Walter Thompson. He lives in Madrid, but is constantly touring.
