We at DBF will converge on sunday for a celebration of all things 'Mirza Ghalib'. ...An informal chat session at Ghalib's Haveli celebrating the genius that the poet was. With historical perspectives of his times, shayari recitals & interpretations, anecdotes of the Poet's wit & humor, we will take our participants through a understanding of the true spirit of 'the Mirza Sahab' as he was popularly called in the alleys of Shajahanabad...
Ballimaran ki galliyon mein aaj bhi Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan, popularly known world-over as Mirza Ghalib ke charchey shaairana andaaz mein kiye jaatey hain…come join DBF as we explore the poet’s work, the streets, people and culture which inspired the poet to write some of his greatest works…

1) Explore the haveli of Miraza Ghalib in the bylanes of Ballimaran, in Old Delhi
2) Experience the rich legacy of Mirza Ghalib’s poetry and its multiple interpretations through recital of couplets and poems of Ghalib
3) Learn about the life, culture and times of Ghalib’s stay in Delhi
4) Participants can also recite their favourite Ghalib couplets and share with all their interpretations of Ghalib
5) Traditional breakfast snacks & sweets will keep us happy & full!

NOTE:
1) The presentation will be done only in Zabaan-e-Dehli – ‘Hindi and Urdu’
