One seller, two buyers. For sale – an empty flat.
A young woman is in a hurry to sell her flat. Another woman is interested in buying it. But is she really? A man is also interested in buying the flat. But he doesn't believe the flat belongs to the woman who's trying to sell it. So what's the game? Who's lying? Who's telling the truth? Why?
The Sale is an "apparently" non-political work by one of Spain's most prolific and well-known playwrights, Lluisa Cunille. It revolves around three characters brought together by their need for a place to call their own. Adrift in a world like islands in an ocean what they really seek is connection. The Sale describes their desperate, absurdly comic and poignant attempts to connect with each other.

Biography: Yellowcat was created in 2005 with the purpose of creating new work in new spaces. Since then, it has created performances for a diverse audience in widely different spaces. Its work is rooted in an urban context and draws upon various sources including historical records, comic books and mythology. Process is central to the way the company creates its performances and so most of its work is collaborative in nature. Each performance is seen as a new proposition made through seriously playful means. The company commits a part of its time to theatre education and fostering young audiences.
