Event Description : 'Spring is in the Air' art installations by Gopal Namjoshi. A Giat Tree Branch and 'Glowrious' light sculptures. 

Central Atrium of Delhi’s Select City Walk Mall is being treated to  “Spring is in the air” a giant art installation of a tree branch and dazzling light sculptures ”Glowrious”  for this month of March, specially created by installation artist and muralist Gopal Namjoshi.
 The art installation  comprises of 500 flowers, using bout 12,000,00 square feet of coloured, crepe paper. The branch full of flowers, leaves and buds is suspended from tensioned cables from the upper floor pillars of Central Atrium of this  and  is lit by a  system of  lights.
Another light installation by Gopal “Glowrious”  100 count of  tall cuboid structures manually cut in leafy and floral patterns, drawn and hand painted is also being showcased around and within the plaza area, at the same time .
Gopal Namjoshi has been an independent and innovative artist working in the field of arts, design and crafts from last 25 years. Gopal, originally from Jaipur, moved to Delhi after two decades of experimentation in his formative years as designer, lecturer, consultant and advertising professional. At present, he lives in Gurgaon and works from his studio at Sohna Road, Gurgaon.
 He has designed and installed over three hundred murals, few installations in a range of media and techniques in India and abroad. He undertakes art projects, commissioned projects and his inclination towards more academic lifestyle has been always respected amongst his students and fraternity for strong fundamental knowledge of arts and aesthetics.
To his credit he has done XI solo shows within the country and participated in many curated shows world over.
