Historical musical based on the life and times of Mohammed Shah, the last Mughal emperor to
sit on the Peacock Throne. Shah was besotted by his courtesan, Noor. Immersed in music and dance, he ignored Nadir Shah's warnings, resulting in Delhi being plundered and looted. Nadir took away the Peacock Throne, Kohinoor Diamond and wealth of 8 generations of Mughal kings. Though Mohammed Shah failed miserably as a ruler, he was a great connoisseur of the fine arts, music and dance, sharing the age with renowned contemporaries- poet Mir Taqi Mir and musicians Sada Rang & Ada Rang.
