ESSENTIALS TO WEAR & CARRY:
1- The terrain sometimes involves climbing atop fort walls & sometimes walking sedately on rolling grass, so preferably wear a pair of good walking shoes. Not that we will stop any flip-flop wearers from joining us!
2- A bottle of drinking water.
3- A cloth covering/cap for head.
4- A camera for capturing the 'monumental' ruins

DBF will transport you to that City of Djinns, where the shadowy & mysterious world of Sufis, Fakirs & Saint...a place where devotees come and write letters to the Djinns of Feroz Shah Kotla Fort, stick coins to the walls of the mosque, offer milk, sweets, fruits & even meat to the Djinns, all with the single objective of having their wishes fulfilled!!
Yes, the sprawling Ferozshah Kotla Fort, the 5th city of Delhi, Firuzabad never ceases to amaze, with its numerous monuments, mysteries & peculiarities. Be it a beautiful mosque, a massive Ashokan-era stone pillar, a Baoli(Step-well) or dungeon cells beneath the building platforms....all of which give the opportunity to get lost in the silent fort amongst the hustle-bustle of the city that rushes by the famous Ferozshah Kotla Cricket Stadium in the heart of Delhi.
