ESSENTIALS TO WEAR & CARRY:
1- Any good camera, & if you have your Zoom lenses don't forget to bring them
2- The terrain involves a longish walk, climbing atop rocks and sometimes walking sedately on grass, so preferably wear a pair of good walking shoes/sneakers!
3- A sun-shade/cap/Sunglasses
Meeting Point : Parking lot adjacent to the Manav Rachna University (College of Traffic Management), on Surajkund-Badkhal Road, Faridabad
Best Way to Reach : Those driving in can easily park their vehicles at the parking adjacent to the Manav Rachna University (College of Traffic Management) as there is ample parking space.

This Sunday morning lose yourselves amidst jungles & lakes of the Aravallis...Stroll amongst acres of green forests, jump & run with joy, breathe in unadulterated oxygen, spot the dance of a butterfly or stare with fascination at the fishes in the many small & large lakes or listen to the symphony of a Koel or Bulbul....To learn and enjoy the biodiversity of this last haven for wildlife & natural forests adjoining Delhi, we will have a Nature Specialist sharing with us stories related to the Flora & Fauna o...f Delhi & the Aravallis.
The triangular area which is the congregating point of Gurgaon in West, Delhi in North-east & Faridabad in South is the Southern Ridge and houses the Asola Wildlife Sanctuary situated just behind the popular Surajkund Mela area.
This walk is a good opportunity especially for children, families, amateur/wildlife photographers and nature-lovers.
(The presentation will be done both in Hindi and English)
