Event Description : All India Kitchen Garden Association (AIKGA) presents Food & Nutrition Show, a two day long Fruit, Vegetable and Flower Festival with stalls selling plants, garden tools, Organic Items, and workshop on salad making, Juice therapy, Ayurvedic cooking and Veg. Carving.


"This year  AIKGA has shifted  the focus and theme of the show on gardening for health,  nutrition and food preservation instead for usual display of fruit, vegetables and flowers. Various chapters of the association in Delhi and National Capital Region will be presenting whole range of nutrition food and related recipes to meet the needs of changing lifestyle “said Ms Bella Gupta, Secretary, All India Kitchen Garden Association (AIKGA) .

“ Professional Nutritionists from various institutes including Lady Irwin,  PUSA Institute of hotel management  and catering and eminent clinical nutritionist Ishi Khosla will participate and give demonstration, lectures and advice on Nutrition for health  and related issues. “said MS Gupta.

“ The other highlights of the show will be demonstration and workshop on salad preparation, Juice therapy, Ayurvedic cooking , vegetable carving ,general nutrition and cooking tips . AIKGA will have its usual Demo Stall with emphasis on Food and Nutrition. A painting competition on health and nutrition will be another major attraction on February 24 during the show”said Ms Gupta.

The show will be inaugurated by Ms Savita Gupta, Mayor South Delhi MCD.

 PLANT, FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SAPLINGS AND GARDEN TOOLS  WILL BE FOR SALE AND DISPLAY.
LIVE DEMO ON Vermic Compost, Potting Plants, Hanging garden, water garden, bottle garden, Tray garden and vegetable carving.
