Explore the ancient art of shadow puppetry and watch your child’s imagination come to life at Stellar Children’s Museum – India’s first edu-recreational play space.
The shadow puppet workshop invigorates the learning environment by offering experiential, participatory, performance-based programming. Shadow puppetry is a strong traditional form in many countries and is a tremendously entertaining form of puppetry that is easy to create. Shadows are cast upon a lit screen and the stories are brought to life.
The children will be introduced to the idea of shadow puppetry with a short story and shadow puppet performance. The participants will then be shown how to make and manipulate their own shadow puppets. Each child will get to enjoy the pleasure of creating and performing with their own puppets.
