Event Description : Anubhav Nath of 1AQ presents the first ever South India’s divine cultural festival ‘Isha Utsav’ by Isha Foundation.
This 12 day long festival consists of an exhibition, featuring specially designed crafts from rural India, organic foods for urban living, daily meditation sessions and Isha live music. The festival presents Isha Craft and textiles, that are made from locally sourced, natural materials, the product range includes eco-friendly decorative baskets, all-purpose trays, lamps, Fragrances ,mats , fashionable cotton & jute handbags, Rudrakash, ethnic garments & Yoga wear & T-Shirts. The products are eco-friendly and made from natural and bio-degradable materials. Tastefully designed stone sculptures, urlis and metal crafts made out of recycled material, are top picks for interior designers and homemakers alike. Sounds of Isha, an anomalous group of 'musicians' - inspired by their deep yearning and sense of gratitude. The performances of Sounds of Isha are set apart to deliver a potent and intoxicating ethereal concoction, transporting those who listen into subtler states
of being. Isha Kriya Meditation sessions will happen at regular intervals from 4pm to 7pm daily.
The special feature of the festival is Isha Ruchi, an initiative to revive the traditional south Indian foods which were lost in the last few generations. The idea is to give an access to a wholesome range of snacks, drinks and tiffin meals, that offer an enticing blend of taste, nutrition and convenience, to the modern city dweller. There would also be food sampling available with an exciting menu comprising of nutritious and wholesome appams, dosas and freshly prepared herbal teas.
