Note : 
1- The terrain sometimes involves climbing atop few walls and 1.5-2.5KMs of brisk walking, so preferably wear a pair of good walking shoes.
2- The presentation will be done in 'Jabaan-e-Dehli' Hindi and Urdu
3- Children aged below 8 years are free!
4- Senior Citizens aged 60 & above get a 50% discount
5- A bottle of drinking water.
This is a slightly long walk of approx 2.5KM, so be prepared for some good amount of walking in this lovely winters.

Event Description : Delhi By Foot presents "Ek Sheher Tha Jahanpanah"- Fourth City of Delhi Heritage Walk Event.
Mohammad Bin Tughlaq, the 'mad' Sultan is best known for having shifted the capital of Hindoostan from Dilli to Daulatabad near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. But what happened to the city that he built & lived in before moving to Daulatabad? Where is it now?
Join DBF this sunday morning to know more about the 4th city of medieval Dilli, which flourished 650 years ago and listen to hazaar stories of the 'madness' of the Sultan Mohammad Tuglaq.

Highlights of the Walk :
1) Explore a unique 14th Century Mosque whose domes, pillars & overall structure make it an Architect & Photographer's delight!
2) Experience the wisdom of town & water planning methods of 700 yrs ago with a visit to the earliest Barrages used to control inflow of water into the city.
3) We end our visit with a 'Salaam' at the Dargah of the 4th city's resident Sufi Saint, Roshan Nasiruddin Chirag-e-Dehlvi, the spiritual successor & last of the 3 major Chisti Sufi Saints who lived, taught & died in Delhi.
4) A quick round of morning snacks options for those interested in a quick bite is included!
