Event Details : Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya presents Tansen Music & Dance Festival – 2012 that will showcase Indian and Western classical dance forms by their students that includes; Indian Classical Dances, Folk Dances, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Punjabi, Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Manipuri, Gujrati, Maharastra, Bollywood, Freestyle, Salsa, Jazz, Hip-hop, Cha-Cha-Cha, Belly Dance, Ballroom Dance, Rock n roll, Rumba & Samba, Swing, Ballet, Break Dance, Tap Dance, Flamenco Dance, Locking Dance, Popping Dance, Robotic Dance, Street Dance and Contemporary style.

Master Marzi (Bollywood dance Choreographer & Dance India Dance (DID) judge)will honour the music & dance festival that will present around 50 striking performances with around 600 dancers in foray to be witnessed by over 2000 guests.
In order to promote traditional music and dance culture the – Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya conducts music and dance festival on regular basis. Three music and dance festivals have been conducted in past one year that has seen legendary names like music director, Ismail Darbar, playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, Music Director Jatin (of Jatin & Lalit fame) and Saroj Khan – legendary dance choreographer – putting their support and encouraging students.
Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya alumni have participated in national level televised dance shows / championships – some of them even winning them.

Tansen Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, a unit of Tansen Institute of Performing Arts Pvt. Ltd. (TIPA) is the first and only ISO 9001:2008 certified performing arts training institute that nurtures creative expression in music and performing arts and experiential learning to cultivate both thorough professional performers and hobbyists. Tansen offers courses under major categories like vocal,
