THE SHAKEY RAYS are a four piece independent Rock ‘n’ Roll band from Chennai, India.
Songwriting duo Dhruva Gautham and Vikram Kannan got together with drummer Niranjan Swaminathan to write songs rooted in Rhythm 'n' Blues, exploring various arrangements and musical patterns - with an approach that is fresh and contemporary.
They released a critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Tunes From The Big Belly’ and toured the country with guest bassist Tiburtius Rubin in July 2012. 
Their songwriting sensibilities draw from the traditions of Rhythm ‘n’ Blues and Swing, and are presented with the aggressive energy and attitude of garage rock and punk.

MINDFLEW will be performing a short opening set for the evening. They are a five-piece post punk/psychedelic rock band from New Delhi, formed as a school band in 2006 and headed by musical boffin Ritwik De (Emperor Minge, Tank Bund)Their music has been featured on compilations Furtados: Because You Love Music Vol. 1 and Mixtape India Vol. 3. They were runner up band of the Yamaha Asian Beat (2010) Delhi Heats. And winner of Rolling Stone Open Mic night at TLR sometime last year probably.

The line up is Ritwik De (Lead Guitars and Vocals), Jayant Parashar (Drums and Percussion), Tushar Yadav (Rhythm Guitars and Backing Vocals), Hemant Chona (Bass Guitar) and Nirvan Athreya (Acoustic Guitar and Backing Vocals).

FLEXI K (DJ set)

Ska Venger, Jass B'stard, and Emperor Minge man Flexi K (aka Stefan Kaye) takes you on a musical journey to a time when going to a dance didn't necessarily mean getting monged on controlled substances. Spinning surf, rockabilly, R&B and a rag-bag of assorted grooves.
